Hi Just purchased the app and not had much time yet using it. However a quick question. Does the template accept standard xml files ie. could I use a image as a button..can the size of button be change apart from the height. Noticed in the discription that the color of a button changes from green to red. Can any color be set.

Hi Evert, Button height can be changed, and the width is based on how many "button in a line" you have. Regarding colors, those are not set through the XML but through the API for updating buttons as an incoming UDP string (see the manual for details). Saying that, adding an option to set the color of the button in the XML template is a great idea, I will start working on it, and hope that the next version will have this option. Regarding images, I am sorry, no, those are not yet supported, will look into what it takes to add this. Thanks again for using my application!!

Many Thanks for your reply. I used your app. In TCP mode as a telnet client to send text commands to my device. From your reply you say I can use the Phil Green API methode in UDP mode. I presume the the TCP mode will also work. This I will try. Thanks for regarding the button color in XML as a great idea.

No problem, as soon as I have some time, I will look at what it takes to add this to the existing XML template, and see how complicated it will be do edit through the application interface as well.

Evert, I am about to release a BETA version for the paid app with the color setting enabled. You can set a color by entering the HEX value of a color (for now), and it is also stored and loaded from the XML file (with an added attribute for each button). Will you be able to test the BETA version and confirm that this suits your needs? Thanks, Ido

Here is another request😆 Is it possible to hide buttons. Is it possible to change height of individual rows. By begining able to do this a layout can be achieved.ie small buttons for channel inputs(commands) and bigger one as a enter or take input(command). With this and using the color button as in the latest version an attractive panel can be obtained.

At the moment, I am very busy with regular work, so responses might not be as quick.
